Write for us
Vibrant Conversation welcomes pitches that open up a specific, familiar aspect of talking and listening. We are interested in useful ideas that readers can consider in daily life, without turning people into conversational puzzles to solve.
What to pitch
Propose a distinct subject within conversation: an opener that eases a particular kind of exchange, a comparison between two ways to ask, a useful observation about listening, or the effect of a setting on attention. Pitches should suit a general reader and avoid professional advice or claims of guaranteed outcomes.
What makes a strong pitch
Tell us the central idea, why it matters to a reader, the kind of piece you have in mind and how it differs from familiar advice. Keep the proposal focused and explain what examples or sources would support it. We value clear thinking, a natural voice and respect for differences in culture and communication.
How to send it
Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option or describe your pitch in the message. Please share a short summary rather than a complete draft unless one has been requested. A proposal is not a promise of publication.
